A Ukrainian policeman critically wounded during a riot outside parliament in Kiev has died in hospital, Interior Minister Arsen Avakov said Tuesday, bringing the death toll to two.

Both men were conscripts in the National Guard who were hit by fragments of a grenade hurled at a police cordon on Monday after legislators voted in favor of granting more autonomy to Ukraine's eastern regions, dpa reported.
