A pilot and two passengers were dead after a small private plane went down in U.S. state of South Carolina on Saturday afternoon, local authorities said. The crash happened in Conway, about 24 km northwest of Myrtle Beach, a popular coastal vacation getaway. No additional casualties were reported. The incident led to electric outages as several power lines were taken down by the aircraft. A fire on the ground has been put out, according to the Conway Police Department.
