A UAE serviceman has been killed in action in Yemen, it was announced on Thursday, according to newspaper

First Lieutenant Abdul Aziz Sarhan Saleh Al Ka’abi died “performing his national duty”, reported the state news agency Wam.

 

He was participating with forces as part of Operation Restoring Hope, led by Saudi Arabia, to support the legitimate government in Yemen, said the UAE General Command of the Armed Forces.

No further details of how he died have yet been released.
