The British government warned its nationals Friday against visiting touristic sites in Egypt especially with the on-going violence there. A statement from the foreign office called on British nationals to take extra caution while being in Egypt, avoiding sites were clashes between the supporters of ousted President Mohamed Morsi and Egyptian forces are occurring. The statement also urged British nationals to avoid traveling to Egypt unless it was absolutely necessary. According to a report by major travel agencies in the UK, there are over 11, 000 British tourists in Egypt mostly in resorts located in Sharm El-Sheikh.
