Rebels in Ukraine’s eastern city of Luhansk have shot down a military cargo plane, killing 49 military personnel, the Ukrainian Defence Ministry announced.
The Il-76 plane was targeted by anti-aircraft weapon and a large caliber machine gun, the same source said.
