The US-led coalition carried out 24 airstrikes against Daesh terrorists in Syria and Iraq, the Combined Joint Task Force-Operation Inherent Resolve (CJTF-OIR) said in a statement on Wednesday.

In Syria, the coalition staged four sorties against tactical units, seven fortified underground hotbeds and a rocket-launch site belonging to the terrorist group, the statement added. 

The coalition forces in Iraq conducted 20 airstrikes in ten Iraqi cities including Mosul and Al Baghdadi. The sorties destroyed tactical units, gatherings for Daesh terrorists, rock-launch sites, heavy weaponry, fighting posts, ammunition depots and vehicles.
