Egyptian TV presenter Rola Kharsa Cairo – Khaled Tharwat Egyptian TV presenter Rola Kharsa will not be participating in the June 30 demonstrations against the ruling regime in Egypt. The rally seeks to undermine Egyptian President Mohammed Morsi and to call for early presidential elections. Kharsa asserted that she would only fulfil her duty to broadcast complete media coverage of the event on her programme, Al Balad Al Youm (The Country Today). The presenter confirmed in a statement to Arab Today, that she urged all the people she knows to sign the petitions against the Muslim Brotherhood- but did not sign it herself for fear of repercussions. Kharsa said that she is aware that the ruling regime despises her and anyone who criticise their actions. She added that all the other Islamic movements including the Salafist and Jihadist, differ from the Muslim brotherhood, as many of  them love her, despite her making negative comments.. Kharsa condemned the comments made by fellow television presenter Noor Abd Hafez who insulted her while on air.  Abdel Hafez recently called Kharsa dumb and misinformed on the Muslim Brotherhood channel, Egypt 25. She responded to Abd Hafez though her program, saying: \"I have morals and I\'m not going to respond to you with your style.” Her statement was praised by activists on social networking sites, arguing that Kharsa had taught him a lesson in morality.
