The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights (SOHR) said that 3,250 people were killed in the five-month battle in Raqqa in Syria, including 1,130 civilians, The Independent reported Tuesday.
The SOHR noted that the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) completely liberated Raqqa from Daesh terrorist group.
The SDF, an alliance of Kurdish and Arab militias backed by a US-led international alliance, has been fighting Daesh inside Raqqa since June.
