Kremlin Spokesman Dmitry Peskov reaffirmed Russia’s position on rejecting the presence of foreign troops in Syria without the permission of its government, noting that Moscow’s position on this issue has not changed.

In a press conference on Monday in Moscow, Peskov said that the Russian position on the presence of foreign military forces in Syria illegally is known, stressing that countering terrorist organizations in Syria will continue.
