Emma experimented with new techniques London - Arabstoday Emma Bridgewater is a British company owned and run by Emma (née Bridgewater) and husband Matthew Rice. The core of the business is pottery, which is made with loving care in much the same way as it would have been in Victorian times. The Emma Bridgewater factory lies in the heart of the historic Stoke Potteries region, in a sunny Victorian factory on the banks of the Caldon Canal. The plum luster collection of splattered crockery is explained best in Emma’s own words: “I adore the colourful romance of lustreware, which I remember clearly from the kitchen of my childhood. I’m especially excited about the pieces we’ve created for Liberty as they embody the marbled beauty of this traditional technique using a rich, plum-pink which is particularly lovely.\" Available exclusively from liberty.com.
