The Egyptian tourist guide, Naglaa Badr, said that tourism is divided into many species. There is the religious tourism, which means that the individual moves from his place of residence to the holy places in the same state or another state, such as visiting mosques and shrines or places of worship such as Mecca and Medina, adding that this type of tourism strengthens religious faith and revive the spiritual side.
She added, in an exclusive interview with Arabs Today, that there is also medical tourism, in which individual visits spas and therapeutic clinics and many others, with the goal of treatment from the body's diseases in a highly qualified centers, with self-entertainment.
Meanwhile, social tourism, in which the individual goes in collective trips in vacation days to entertain and increase psychological and physical activity for them, she added.
She explained that there is a new kind of tourism called conference tourism. This tourism flourished with the developments that have accompanied economic, political and cultural fields. The individual goes to attend these conferences with the aim of entertainment.
There is also sports tourism, in which the individual wants to practice of many water and beach sports, Badr concluded.
