The Head of Alexandria University Roshdy Zahran underlined that partisan activities are not allowed during the new academic year, stressing that freedom of expression is respected.

He further said that religious and political symposiums can be organized in the framework of law without harming the security or stability of the university.

Zahran's remarks came during his meeting with the university's council on Wednesday.

He urged encouraging students to participate in various cultural, social, artistic and scientific activities that depend on innovation.
