China congratulated Sudanese President Omar Bashir on election win.

China said that it respects the choice of the Sudanese people and is ready to work with Sudan to boost bilateral ties and cooperation.

In press statements, Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Hong Lei said that China will continue supporting Sudan to maintain stability and economic development to improve the living conditions of the Sudanese people.
