Egypt welcomed an offer from New Zealand investors to establish a model village for animal production.
Agriculture Minister Salah Hilal made the remark during a meeting Sunday with Egyptian Ambassador to New Zealand Mahmoud Zayed.
He said New Zealand was an important partner to Egypt in the agricultural and commercial fields, adding that cooperation needs to be supported in agricultural scientific research.
The minister added that Egypt welcomes the offer to benefit from New Zealand's expertise in the production of animal resources and meat.
