Tajikistan embassy in Cairo will celebrate on Wednesday the 24th anniversary of the independence from the Soviet Union in 1991.

The Egyptian-Tajikistan relations witnessed important development in 2015, according to a statement of the Tajikistan embassy Sunday.

The Tajikistan president visited Egypt in 2007 and opened its embassy there in the same year and that promoted bilateral ties.

Tajikistan seeks establishing positive cooperation and civilized dialogue with all the countries of the world, the statement said.
