Algeria strongly condemned Monday's killing of the Russian Ambassador to Turkey Andrey Karlov.

Spokesman for the Algerian Foreign Ministry Abdul Aziz Bin Ali Sharif, in statements on Tuesday, condemned the killing of the diplomat in cold blood as a cowardly act.

He offered condolences to the victim's relatives, asserting that Turkey will not spare any effort to punish the perpetrators of this terrorist attack.

Karlov was shot and killed in an armed assault at an art gallery in Ankara on Monday.
