The Arab League condemned the cowardly terrorist attack on a hotel in el Arish, North Sinai, earlier Tuesday.

The attack left a number of people dead and others injured.

The pan-Arab body condoles with the Egyptian people and government for the death of a judge and two soldiers, said AL Assistant Secretary General for Media Affairs Haifaa Abu Ghazala.

She also wished the injured a speedy recovery.

What happened in Arish is a cowardly terrorist attack meant to halt the democratic march and roadmap, Abu Ghazala said.
