Australia's Minister of Foreign Affairs Julie Bishop condemned today the attacks on the Saudi Embassy in Tehran and the Saudi Consulate in Mashhad.

In a statement today, Bishop called on the Iranian government to provide protection for diplomats and diplomatic facilities.
