Awqaf Minister Mohamed Mokhtar Gomaa denounced on Sunday the terrorist attack in Belgium that left two policewomen wounded.

In press statements, the minister said terrorism is a serious virus that should be eliminated.

Reporting terrorist plots and giving any information about terrorists are a religious and national duty, he said.

A terrorist attacked two female police officers with machete in Belgium's Charleroi on Saturday, injuring them.
