Bahrain has strongly condemned the “terrorist attack that targeted the Mar Mina church in Cairo resulting in the death and injury of scores of people, including security personnel.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs offered in a statement its sincere condolences to Egypt, its people and to the families of the martyrs and its wishes of a speedy recovery to those injured in this horrific terrorist act that targets the lives of the innocent and that is contrary to all religions, norms and human values.
“The Ministry of Foreign Affairs affirms the Kingdom of Bahrain’s solid position with the Arab Republic of Egypt in its efforts to combat terrorism and drain its sources of funding, stressing that the brotherly Egyptian people are capable of repelling and deterring such terrorist and criminal acts that will never affect the unity of the Egyptian society," the statement said.
“The Ministry of Foreign Affairs reiterates the firm position of the Kingdom of Bahrain, which strongly rejects all forms of violence, extremism and terrorism, and stresses the need for concerted efforts to eradicate this serious scourge."
