The cabinet mourned Friday former health minister Ibrahim Badran.

Badran assumed many senior posts, such as president of Cairo University, president of the Academy Of Scientific Research & Technology, president of the The Institut d’Égypte, and the president of board of trustees of the Nile University.

The cabinet offered its condolences to the family of the late scientist, said Cabinet Spokesman Hossam Qawish.

Qawish said the cabinet greatly appreciates Badran's contributions to and achievements in the health sector.
