China slams North Korea's 5th nuke test

North Korea has confirmed it has conducted its fifth nuclear test

China denounced on Friday North Korea's fifth nuke test, urging Pyongyang to meet its commitments with regard to nuclear disarmament.

This came in a brief statement issued by China's Foreign Ministry in response to N. Korea's announcement that it carried out earlier in the day nuke explosion test through a recently-developed warhead.
