Egypt has condemned the attacks which targeted the Syrian capital Damascus and the city of Homs Sunday and resulted in killing 180 civilians and injury of many others.

Foreign Ministry spokesman Ahmed Abu Zeid said in a statement Monday that Egypt strongly condemns all forms of terrorism and urges international community to exert more efforts to root out this terrible phenomenon
