Egypt has condemned the terrorist attack against an army base in Nassoumboy city in Burkina Faso, leaving 12 troops dead. 

The Foreign Ministry spokesman offered condolences to the families of the victims.

He asserted that Egypt's government and people support Burkina Faso against terrorism.
