French Foreign Affairs Minister Jean-Yves Le Drian expressed solidarity with Egypt over Friday's terrorist attack in Giza's Wahat area which left behind scores of Egyptian police personnel dead and injured.

In a statement on Saturday, the French top diplomat expressed condolences to the families of the victims and wished those injured speedy recovery.

H said Egypt and its security forces once again pay dearly for countering terrorism, stressing France's support for Egypt's stability in such hard time.
