Secretary-General of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) Dr. Abdul Latif bin Rashid Al Zayani on Monday strongly condemned the terrorist bombing that took place yesterday in the Somali capital Mogadishu which resulted in the killing and wounding of dozens of innocent civilians.
Al Zayani said in a press statement that the bombing is a terrible crime that is contrary to all moral and humanitarian values and international laws.
The Secretary-General expressed the solidarity of the Gulf Cooperation Council states with the brotherly Government of Somalia in its efforts to combat terrorism, expressing condolences to the families of the victims and to the Somali Government and people.
