His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa today sent a cable of condolences to the Egyptian President, Abdel Fattah el-Sisi.
HM the King expressed deepest condolences to President el-Sisi and the families of the victims of the terrorist attack that led to the death of an officer and five soldiers when a bomb exploded in one of the vehicles of the armed forces during a raid on a terrorist hotspot in northern Sinai.
The King also condoled with the Egyptian president and the families of the victims of the attempted terrorist attack that targeted Mar Mina Church in the city of Helwan, expressing strong condemnation of the heinous criminal attack that targeted secure civilians and the unity of the Egyptian society.
HM King Hamad stressed that such criminal acts contravene all divine religions and human values, affirming Bahrain’s standing with brotherly Egypt and support for all the measures it takes to confront such terrorist attacks aimed at subverting its security and stability.
HM the King reiterated the kingdom’s rejection of all forms and manifestations of terrorism, as well as its support for the efforts exerted by the International Community to combat terrorism and dry up its sources.
HM King Hamad prayed to Allah the Almighty to rest the souls of the victims in eternal peace, and to bless their families with patience, and the wounded with speedy recovery.
