His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Prime Minister, today sent a cable of condolences to the Egyptian President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi over the victims of the terrorist attack that took place in the Western Desert of the Giza Governorate, Egypt, and resulted in the death and injury of dozens of security personnel.

HRH the Crown Prince prayed to Allah the Almighty to rest the souls of the late security personnel in eternal peace, and to grant their families patience and fortitude, wishing the injured quick recovery.

HRH Crown Prince wished Egypt and its brotherly people ever-lasting security.

The Crown Prince expressed Bahrain’s denunciation and strong condemnation of such criminal terrorist acts aimed at subverting Egypt’s security and stability, stressing that they are rejected by the International Community, and contravene all divine religions and human values.

HRH the Crown Prince reiterated Bahrain’s principled stance in rejection of terrorism in all its forms and manifestations, and its keenness on supporting the International Community’s efforts to combat it and dry up its sources.
