The Kingdom of Jordan has condemned a terrorist attack that struck a neighbourhood in Baghdad and left scores of innocent people dead and injured.
Petra News Agency quoted Muhammad al-Momani, Jordan State Minister for Media Affairs, as saying that terrorism started to hit everyday in a more horrendous manner, threatening Iraq's stability and security.
The minister, who is also government spokesman, called for concerned efforts to help Iraq fight terrorism, voicing the Kingdom's solidarity with Iraq at these times.
A car packed with explosives blew up on Thursday in Al-Baya district, southwest of Baghdad, killing and wounding more than 100 people.
