The Palestinian Foreign Ministry condemned Israel's continued crimes and violations against the Palestinians, including the killing of Palestinian citizen Jehad Mohamed Khalil. 

The ministry, meanwhile, called on the international community stand up to the crimes committed by the Israeli forces against the Palestinian citizens. 

Such crime is not the first which took place in the Qalandiya checkpoint, said the ministry, adding that the killing of the Palestinian citizen came upon directives by the Israeli authorities, which gave a green light to open fire against Palestinian citizens.

Khalil is the latest of 240 Palestinians to have been killed by Israel since the beginning of a wave of unrest across the occupied Palestinian territoies in October 2015, the majority of whom were shot dead by Israeli forces, according to Ma'an News Agency
