The Palestinian National Unity government denounced on Monday the wide-scale detention campaign by Israeli occupation forces in Al Quds (Occupied East Jerusalem).

The government described the detention campaign and the recent Israeli decision to shoot unarmed Palestinians as part of the Israeli escalation in the Palestinian territories and the region .

It stressed the importance of putting an end to the Israeli escalation on the ground, pointing out that Israeli government is lying to the world by saying it was keen on calm.
