Pope Tawadros II of Alexandria and Patriarch of Saint Mark Diocese received on Monday Eastern Orthodox Patriarch of Alexandria and all Africa Patriarch Theodore II and his accompanying delegation.

The patriarch offered condolences to the Pope over the victims of the terrorist attack in el Boutroseya (St Peter and St Paul) Church in Abbasiya last week, a statement by the church indicated. 

The terrorist attack left 25 people dead and 49 others wounded.
