The Palestinian Foreign Ministry condemned on Monday the fierce offensive carried out by Israeli settlers against Palestinians and their lands in the West Bank.
In a statement, the ministry said this offensive is mainly targeting olive tree farmers in more than one position in the West Bank and it is being carried out under the protection of Israeli forces.
These acts come as part of Israeli schemes to build more settlements and Judaize Palestinian lands in Area C, which is fully under the control of Israeli occupation authorities under Oslo agreements.
Uprooting olive trees, denying Palestinians access to trim their trees or collect harvest and vandalizing olive trees by chemical pesticides are among Israeli tactics to drive Palestinians from their lands, the ministry said in a statement.
