A popular diplomatic delegation grouping former diplomats, writers and media personnel denounced the terrorist bombings that hit the European Union's capital Brussels on Tuesday, leaving great number of persons dead and injured.

In a press conference held in the Belgian Embassy here on Wednesday, the Independent Current General Coordinator Ahmed el Fadly offered condolences to the families of the victims.

He further said that the Egyptian president, government and people slammed the attacks, adding that Egypt stresses on the importance of uniting efforts to uproot terrorism and the organizations financing it.

El Fadly underlined also that black terrorism has no religion and contradicts with the moderate teachings of Islam, noting that some of the extremism victims are Muslim themselves.
