H.H. Lt. General Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of the Interior, and H.H. Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, today conveyed the condolences of the UAE Government and its people to Saudi King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, and the Saudi Government and people, on the death of Prince Mansour bin Muqrin, Deputy Governor of Saudi Arabia’s Asir Province.
Their Highnesses are currently on a visit to the Kingdom where they arrived on Tuesday accompanied by Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, Minister of Tolerance, Faris Al Mazrouei, Adviser to the Ministry of Presidential Affairs, and a number of senior officials and officers at the Ministry of Defence. They were received at the King Salman Air Base Airport by Prince Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Abdulaziz, Deputy Governor of Riyadh and Sheikh Shakhbout bin Nahyan Al Nahyan, UAE Ambassador to the Kingdom, and a number of officials from the Saudi Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
Prince Mansour was killed along with a number of officials when the helicopter they were on board crashed on Sunday.
