Saudi Arabia has strongly condemned the terrorist bombings which targeted a Coptic Cathedral in Cairo, leaving dozens of people dead and wounded.

The Saudi Press Agency, SPA, quoted an official source at the Saudi Foreign Ministry as saying, "Such a cowardly act is deplorable by Islam and all faiths, as it contravenes established human values, norms, principles and international charters."

The ministry source extended condolences to the families of the victims, the Egyptian government and people.
