Senate President Faisal Al Fayez on Friday condoled Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas over the victims of a road crash, which claimed lives of Palestinian pilgrims.

In his cable, Al Fayez expressed, in his name and on behalf of Jordanian senators, sympathy and condolences and wished the injured a speedy recovery.

At least 16 Palestinian pilgrims died and 34 others were injured on Wednesday night when their bus overturned in a remote area near the Mudawara border crossing with Saudi Arabia.
