Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, extended his condolences to the families of servicemen, Soliman Mohammed Al Dhuhouri and Nader Mubarak Eisa Soliman, and the UAE ambassador to Afghanistan, Juma Mohammed Abdullah Al Kaabi.
The two servicemen died while performing their national duty as part of Operation Restoring Hope, being conducted by the Saudi-led Arab Coalition to back the legitimate government in Yemen, while Ambassador Al Kaabi died of injuries sustained in a terrorist bombing at the compound of Kandahar’s provincial governor in Afghanistan.

He said the UAE is proud of its citizens who set a great example of sacrifice, dedication and patriotism, and write a bright chapter in the region’s history with their honourable and humanitarian deeds on the field.
"We will always remember the heroism, sacrifices and honourable feats they made while performing their national duty. They will be a source of determination and strength while we continue to progress on the path of glory, and stand for rights and justice in our fearless fight against challenges threatening the security and stability of this region" he said.
"The UAE will continue to extend a helping hand to brothers and friends, because our religion and human principles teach us to do so, and because this is the approach of generous giving and spreading prosperity that is being pursued by the UAE since its establishment," he said.
Sheikh Mohammed further praised the UAE people for being united, proud of the martyrs and loyal to their sacrifices.
Maryam, daughter of Soliman Al Dhuhouri, delivered a speech to express her pride in her father and all other martyrs.
