Yemen strongly condemned on Saturday a terrorist attack that targeted a security force the desert of Wahat on Friday.

In a press release, the Yemeni foreign ministry renewed rejection of all forms and motives of violence and terror, calling on the international community to stand united in the face of terrorism.

The ministry stressed solidarity with Egypt in the fight against terrorism and sponsors.

It also offered condolences to the families of the martyrs, the Egyptian government and people, wishing speedy recovery for those wounded.
