Algerian Artisan Nour Al Huda uses her talent of painting on glass to express Algerian traditional woman in an attempt to highlight her beauty. She is keen to portray the Algerian woman with her traditional clothes in different occasions and governorates.
Nour Al Huda drew the Algerian woman wearing Carco, the traditional design of the capital’s women. She also drew the women of different Algerian tribes with their own designs in addition the other women living in the desert governorates. She focuses on appearing their traditional clothes in addition to accessories. She painted also the African woman characterized by her courageous, patience and strong will.
The Algerian artisan praised, in a statement to “Arabs Today”, her talent saying that it represents her mean to storm the world of beauty. She added that she uses her talent to decorate the houses and pots.
She said that the matter was just a hobby in the beginning, saying that she faced a large number of obstacles in the beginning of her career, while she managed to improve her skills with increasing exercise of this hobby.
She added that her works gained increasing popularity inside her country, saying that the Algerian community realized the value of such arts and works to support the artisans.
