Two new bird flu cases were reported in Sharqia and Menofia governorates on Sunday, the health ministry said.
The two persons tested positive for the virus in laboratory tests, the ministry added in a statement.
Meanwhile, a 32-year-old woman from Dakahlia died of the disease while receiving treatment, said the statement.
Eleven cases infected with the virus are currently receiving treatment, while five other cases were discharged from hospitals, the statement added.
