Four players were sent off and two goals were scored in a frantic finale as AEK Athens rescued a point from a 1-1 draw at Aris Salonika in the Greek Super League. Aris defender Ruben Pulido and visiting substitute Sokratis Tsoukalas were both sent off in the 81st minute, allowing David Aganzo the space he needed to fire the hosts ahead three minutes later. Aganzo was dismissed one minute after scoring, however, and the Spaniard was swiftly followed down the tunnel by AEK\'s Valentinos Vlahos, only for Antonis Petropoulos to salvage a point with a goal deep into stoppage time. The solitary point lifts AEK above Veria and out of the bottom two, while Aris remain in 13th place with 17 points. Olympiacos took advantage of a false step by Panathinaikos to extend their lead at the top of the table to seven points courtesy of a 2-0 victory over Giannina. With Panthrakikos pegging Pana back to a 1-1 draw in Athens last night, goals from Rafik Djebbour (45) and Djamel Abdoun (68) proved enough for the reigning Greek champions to come through a trip to Piraeus unscathed. Elsewhere, Atromitos strengthened their hold on a European berth with a 1-0 victory over Platanias. The Peristeri outfit extended their unbeaten run to a seventh game and their grip on fourth place to eight points from Levadiakos thanks to Eduardo Brito\'s solitary goal in the 38th minute. And neither side could be separated at the Skoda Arena as Xanthi shared a goalless draw with bottom club Kerkyra. From FIFA
