Club Brugge's relentless start to the season continued tonight as they opened up a four-point gap at the top of the Jupiler League with a 4-2 win over Standard Liege. Georges Leekens' side have dropped just two of the 18 points available to them so far, and were in no mood to surrender tonight, racing in to a sixth-minute lead through Carlos Bacca. Iganacio Gonzalez leveled from the spot, but the home side regained the lead through a penalty of their own from Lior Rafalov and then moved further clear thanks to Mohamed Tchite. They were not troubled after that until Bacca and David Biton traded last-minute goals. Anderlecht are second, having twice wiped out deficits to draw 2-2 with Genk. The Constant Vanden Stock Stadium was stunned when Benjamin De Cuelaer opened the scoring (11), but Milan Jovanovic equalised (42). Genk responded with Steven Monrose`s strike on the stroke of half-time, but half-time substitute Massimo Bruno ensured a share of the spoils for Anderlecht with a 51st-minute leveler. Elsewhere, Ervin Zukanovic scored 13 minutes after the break as Lokeren lost 1-0 at home to KV Kortrijk. FIFA
