Gambia and Algeria on Saturday in Banjul drew 1-1, half-time 0-0, in their CAN 2019 Day 2 qualifiers, Group D.

The goals of the encounter were scored by Algeria’s Bounedjah (47’) and Gambia’s Cessay (49’).

Following the draw, Algeria take the lead of the group with 4 points, ahead of Benin (3 pts) who will play Togo on Sunday.
