Lokomotiv Moscow missed the chance to move into second spot in the Russian Premier League standings after slumping to a 2-0 home defeat against city rivals Dinamo. Aleksandr Kokorin put Dinamo ahead just before half-time and substitute Zvjezdan Misimovic sealed the victory with an 88th-minute penalty to leave defeated Lokomotiv still two points behind second-placed CSKA Moscow. Rubin Kazan beat Anzhi Makhachkala 1-0 to leapfrog above their opponents into sixth spot, Nigeria international Obafemi Martins netting the only goal of the game in the 50th minute. In the relegation group, Amkar Perm defeated Terek Grozny 2-0 at home, with Nikola Mijailovic opening the scoring in the 54th minute before a Martin Jiranek own goal four minutes from time completed the scoring.
