Hannover have been dealt a blow with the news that Senegalese striker Mame Diouf is set to miss the rest of the Bundesliga season with a dislocated shoulder. The 26-year-old suffered the injury in last week's 1-1 draw at home to Bayer Leverkusen and underwent surgery on Friday, his club confirmed. It means that Diouf, who has scored eight times in 19 Bundesliga games this season, may have played his last match for the Lower Saxony outfit. The former Manchester United striker's contract is due to expire at the end of June and he has already expressed his desire to move on. Diouf's operation had initially been scheduled for Thursday but was delayed by 24 hours following the birth of his daughter on Wednesday evening. Tayfun Korkut's Hannover side currently sit 12th in the Bundesliga table and go to Hertha Berlin on Saturday looking to end a run of five games without a win. Source: FIFA.com
