Kuban Krasnodar have moved up to fifth in the Russian Premier League with a 1-0 win at home to Rostov. Ivelin Popov scored the winner in the 77th minute to lift Kuban above Lokomotiv Moscow, who slipped to a surprise home defeat to Amkar Perm. Georgi Peev put Amkar ahead after 25 minutes, but Roman Pavlyuchenko levelled 11 minutes later. A draw looked on the cards until Igor Picusciac struck the winner in the last minute. From FIFA
