Central Coast Mariners claimed top spot in the A-League with a 1-0 away win against Wellington Phoenix. Daniel McBreen scored the only goal of the game which took the Mariners into top spot by virtue of a better goal difference than Adelaide United. United, who like the Mariners have 13 points, were held to a 1-1 draw at home by Perth Glory who now lie fourth in the table on ten points.
