Moroccan club side Moghreb Fes and Sunshine Stars of Nigeria won their home matches in the final African Confederation Cup Group B matches to secure semi-finals places. The Moroccans triumphed 3-0 over Daring Club Motema Pembe of the Democratic Republic of Congo while an early goal proved sufficient for Sunshine to win against JS Kabylie of Algeria. Moghreb garnered 14 points from four victories and two draws, Sunshine collected 11, Motema Pembe eight and twice African champions Kabylie finished pointless after six consecutive losses. Hamza Abourazzouk put Moghreb ahead on 10 minutes with his fifth goal of the campaign -- one less than leader Salakiaku Matondo of Motema Pembe -- and Chemseddine Chtibi and Mohamed Ali Bamaamar struck during the second half. Sunshine star Ajani Ibrahim was on target for the fourth time this year in Africa when he grabbed the match-winner just 11 minutes after the kick-off in south-western town Ijebu Ode. InterClube of Angola are also through to the last four of the second-tier club competition and the remaining matches this weekend between Kaduna United of Nigeria and Club Africain of Tunisia, who clash in West Africa will decide the other semi-finalist.
