Ahmed “Mido” Hassan is "in" on the Zamalek 20-man squad for the round five match against Smouha on Thursday. The former Tottenham, Marseille and AS Roma forward returned to Zamalek last winter from Dutch giants Ajax Amsterdam, but failed to gain international clearance to play for the club within the FIFA transfer deadline due complications that arose from the January 25 popular uprising that ousted Hosni Mubarak from power. The White Castle manager Hassan Shehata had to do without Benin’s striker Razak Omotoyossi after abandoning trainings for the third successive day. Omotoyossi hasn't arrive in Cairo yet. Twenty five-year-old, Omotoyossi joined from Swedish side Syrianska for $150,000 and threatened to leave the cash-strapped club in protest at their failure to fulfill their financial obligations towards him. The Cairo giants are currently second on the league table with seven points; one behind archrivals and title holders Ahly in the driving seat, but the Whites have Wadi Degla game in hand.
